| I searched all over the internet and have yet to find anything that can help. I am attempting to create an audio cd with a hidden track before track 1. The idea is that once the disc is put into a cd player, it will begin to play track 1 at 00:00 time. If the listener presses rewind, the disc will go into negative time and hear the secret song. I know that it is easier to place a hidden track at the end of the cd, but there will already be one there. I would like to place the pre-1 hidden track on there as a contest. If people find it, they can win something. I also have Sony CD Architect and the manual says that CD-Arch can do this, but does not state how. Can GEAR do this? I am using Gear Pro Mastering Edition 8.01.7 |

I'm pretty sure you can not do this from within the GUI, but you may be able to accomplish it via a track list file (TLF), by using [IDX:<index_nr>:<index_size>] options:
| Quote: | IDX: Optional index points to generate for the track. The <index_nr> should exactly two digits, and the <index_size> should be specified in sectors/frames.
Example: IDX:01:20000.
This option can be repeated for consecutive index points of the track. |
